Michael Attenborough CBE talks about the history of the University of Leicester’s David Wilson Library, which was opened in 2008 by Her Majesty The Queen. At the heart of the University’s campus, the Library covers 15,600 sqm and has 38km of shelving. The Library is also home to the University’s special collections which includes materials from renowned author, and Leicester local, Sue Townsend.
